b'Recognizing the True Beautyof a GardenWhen John, Sr. and Frances Taylor retired, their choice to join the Westminster Place community was clear. With a shared love of gardening and Frances expertise in that pastime, they appreciated the variety of plantings they saw on their frequent walks in the community. But they noted a unique triangle of space behind theMcGaw Care Center that they thought needed some attention. After Frances passing, John, Sr. formulated a plan for a beautiful garden in memoryof his loving wife. He elicited input from his children, John, Jr. and Connie, and consulted a professional landscape architect, hardscape and irrigation specialists, and the Westminster Place team. The result is a spectacular area filled with interesting flowers, foliage, and structure that offers an ever-changing display of nature atits best in any season. Unfortunately John never saw the end result, passing away before the project was complete. Very fittingly, his memorial service was held in the John Taylor, Jr., Frances Taylor Memorial Garden.Connie Patterson& Tobey Taylor Now John, Jr., his wife Tobey, and Connie honor a promise to their father bycontinuing to financially support the garden and keep it in top form.
