STRENGTHENING THE MISSION THROUGH A UNIFIED BRAND Presbyterian Living An organization’s brand is much more than a nice-looking logo and a memorable tagline. When done well, a brand helps people understand and remember who we are, what we do, what’s important to us, and how we may benefit them. Our brand also helps us stand out among our competitors. Given the history and importance of the Presbyterian Living and Geneva Foundation brands, we do not undertake updates lightly. But as our organization, residents, and communities evolve, so should our branding. Our recent rebranding efforts were informed and inspired by the residents who choose to live in our communities, the programming and services available through Presbyterian Living, and the current trends in vibrant aging. Everything about our updated branding—the style and color cues, the language and typography, and the inherent messaging—is deliberate. The strong cohesion between the Presbyterian Living and Geneva Foundation logos is evidence of their connectedness. Geneva Foundation’s knot icon remains a distinctive and enduring part of its identity. At the same time the unique attributes and personality of each community are unmistakable in their individual logos. Very importantly, our updated branding helps convey our commitment to be “best in class” in our marketplace.
